This pathway presents two options currently priced by MEDinES: breast lift with implants and breast augmentation using your own fat. Dr Mariam confirms which option, if either, is appropriate after consultation.

Understanding breast augmentation
What breast augmentation options involves
Augmentation mammoplasty places an implant to increase breast volume and, in many cases, to improve upper-pole fullness or address a difference in volume between the two sides. Implant position, incision placement and surgical approach are selected by Dr Mariam V. Manukyan according to your anatomy, tissue cover and goals. Augmentation adds volume; it does not lift a breast that has descended significantly. Where meaningful ptosis is present, the surgeon may discuss a breast lift, or a combined breast lift with augmentation, as a separate clinical procedure.

Implant selection
Different implant options are available. The exact manufacturer, model, size and profile are confirmed with Dr Mariam following consultation, together with the final surgical plan and written total price. Implant choice is a clinical decision based on your anatomy, tissue cover and goals — a different implant option is not presented as safer or clinically superior, and selection is not made on price alone.
Often suitable where
- Breast development complete and body weight broadly stable
- Seeking additional volume rather than repositioning of the breast
- Good general health, with any relevant conditions well controlled
- Non-smoking, or able to stop well in advance of surgery as advised
- Understands that implants are medical devices that may require further surgery in the future
Usually not appropriate where
- Significant breast descent (ptosis), where a lift or a combined procedure may be discussed instead
- Unresolved breast lumps or imaging findings awaiting investigation
- Currently pregnant or breastfeeding, or planning either in the near future
- Expecting a specific cup size, guaranteed symmetry or a fixed scar outcome

Immediately after
Monitored recovery in hospital, with dressings and a supportive surgical bra. The length of admission is confirmed by your surgeon.
Early days
Clinic-based recovery in Yerevan with regular doctor review, limited arm movement and a wound check before travel is discussed.
Weeks 2–6
Many patients return to light, desk-based work within the first few weeks. Lifting, impact exercise and chest-focused training remain restricted as advised.
Months 3–12
Swelling settles, implant position softens and scars fade gradually. The settled result is usually judged over many months.

Dr Mariam determines the suitable procedure scope. You receive the full price in writing before the 10% deposit; the agreed price stays fixed unless you request a change of scope.
How your price works
- Written, itemised quote after Dr Manukyan has reviewed your case.
- Fixed for 30 days. A currency buffer is already built in, so exchange-rate changes do not move your quote.
- A 10% booking deposit secures your surgical date and is part of the total. The balance is paid to the clinic in Armenia.
- The price you accept is the price you pay, unless you ask us to change something.
- Cancellation and refund conditions are given to you in writing before you pay a deposit.
Your price covers treatment at MEDinES Medical Center and UK coordination. Written quotes include a currency buffer, remain fixed despite exchange-rate changes and are valid for 30 days.

Included: surgeon review, the procedure, anaesthesia, pre-operative investigations in Armenia, your inpatient nights with nursing care, dressings and dressing changes, medicines during your stay, meals during your inpatient stay, airport and clinic transfers, and UK coordination throughout.
After discharge: recovery accommodation is included for the nights shown for your procedure. Meals after discharge are not included — you choose where and what you eat.
Not included: flights, specialist medical travel insurance, additional nights beyond your planned stay (£41 per night), and personal or leisure services.

The published price covers the agreed clinical care, recovery accommodation and UK coordination.
Patients are expected to arrange specialist medical travel insurance appropriate to planned elective or cosmetic surgery abroad. Standard holiday insurance may not cover planned surgery or related complications.
