Website & Booking Terms
These terms explain how enquiries, written pricing, the booking deposit and the responsibilities of each party work. Your individual booking confirmation is the document that governs your booking.
Before you pay a booking deposit, you will receive the booking confirmation and applicable cancellation and refund terms in writing.
Terms
Clear, in plain English
Written to be readable. If anything here is unclear, ask us before you commit to anything.
1. Who does what
Armenia Plastic Surgery Travel coordinates the medical travel pathway described on this website: enquiry handling, arranging surgeon review, scheduling, travel and stay coordination and aftercare guidance.
Dr Mariam V. Manukyan and MEDinES Medical Center, Yerevan, are the medical and surgical provider for the procedures described on this website.
Medical suitability, the operative plan and all treatment decisions remain with the clinical team. Nothing on this website overrides the clinical judgement of the treating surgeon.
2. Making an enquiry
The initial website enquiry is free. No payment is taken through the public enquiry form, and making an enquiry does not create a booking or any obligation on either side.
The enquiry form is not intended for medical records, diagnoses, medication lists or photographs. Clinical information is collected separately, at the appropriate stage, for surgeon review. See our Privacy & Enquiry Data page.
3. Pricing and written confirmation
Prices shown publicly are category starting prices ("from" prices) for the least extensive suitable pathway within that category. They are not a quotation.
After surgeon consultation, and if you elect to proceed, the complete pathway price is confirmed to you in writing before any deposit is taken. If the clinical scope changes before booking, you receive a revised total before any payment is made.
After the deposit has been paid, the agreed price is not changed without your agreement. The only exceptions are an unforeseen, clinically necessary change that is explained to you and agreed, or a change required in a genuine medical emergency where the clinical team must act in your interests.
4. Booking deposit
A 10% booking deposit forms part of the total pathway price and secures your surgical date and operating-theatre allocation. It is payable only after surgeon review and after you have received the complete price in writing.
The remaining balance is paid to the clinic in Armenia in accordance with your booking confirmation.
5. Cancellation and refunds
The cancellation and refund conditions that apply to your booking are supplied to you in writing before you pay a deposit and form part of your individual booking confirmation. Those written terms govern your booking. Please read them before making any payment and ask if anything is unclear.
6. What is not included
Flights and specialist medical travel insurance are excluded unless expressly stated in your written confirmation. Other exclusions are set out on the pricing page and in your personalised quote.
7. Specialist medical travel insurance
Patients are expected to obtain specialist medical travel insurance appropriate to planned elective or cosmetic surgery abroad. Standard holiday insurance may not cover planned surgery or related complications. We do not sell, arrange or advise on insurance products. We may provide general provider information only, so that you can obtain and buy cover directly.
8. Stay duration and travel home
Stay durations shown on this website are typical guidance, not a guaranteed departure date. Travel home depends on clinical review and fit-to-fly clearance confirmed in Armenia. Where general anaesthesia is used, UK FCDO Travel Aware guidance advises planning to remain in-country for at least 10 days after surgery. Please also check current FCDO travel advice before you travel.
9. Complications
Surgical complications requiring additional treatment while you are under the clinic's care in Armenia are managed by the clinic.
Unless expressly confirmed in writing in your individual booking terms, or covered by your specialist medical travel insurance, the pathway price does not include UK private treatment, a future return flight to Armenia, additional accommodation after a return trip, or elective revision or re-operation after you have returned home.
If you experience emergency symptoms in the UK, call 999, attend A&E or contact local urgent care services. Non-urgent concerns should be raised with the pathway team so they can be reviewed by your operating surgeon.
10. Information you provide
You must provide accurate and complete information at the clinical review stage. Incomplete or inaccurate medical information can affect suitability, safety and the validity of any plan prepared for you.
11. Website content
Content on this website is general information about pathways and procedures. It is not a substitute for individual medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and no surgical outcome can be guaranteed. Results shown are individual patient results shared with consent.
12. Complaints
If something has gone wrong, our complaints procedure sets out how to raise it and what happens next.
