About this pathway

A considered liposuction 2–3 areas pathway

Liposuction is a body contouring procedure, not a weight loss procedure. The number of areas, volume removed and technique are confirmed after surgeon assessment.

Your pathway is shaped around your medical information, your preferred travel timeframe and what is suitable following surgeon review. We coordinate the practical elements so you can focus on preparing well and recovering calmly.

Important considerations

  • Compression garments are typically required for several weeks.
  • Results refine gradually as swelling settles.
  • Suitability depends on skin quality and overall health.

Understanding liposuction 2–3 areas

What liposuction 2–3 areas involves

Lipoplasty removes localised fat deposits through small access incisions using fine cannulas, most often with a tumescent technique that reduces bleeding and bruising. Commonly treated areas include the flanks, outer and inner thighs, abdomen, upper arms and beneath the chin. Skin quality matters as much as fat volume: where skin does not have enough elasticity to retract, liposuction alone can leave a loose contour, and Dr Mariam Manukyan will say so rather than proceeding. Liposuction does not treat cellulite and it is not a substitute for weight management.

Also referred to as Lipoplasty, Body contouring surgery, Tumescent liposuction.

Often suitable where

  • Localised fat deposits that persist despite diet and exercise
  • Reasonable skin elasticity so the contour retracts after treatment
  • Stable weight and realistic contouring rather than weight loss goals
  • Willing to wear compression garments for several weeks

Usually not appropriate where

  • Seeking weight loss or treatment for generalised excess weight
  • Significant skin laxity, where a skin-removal procedure may be more appropriate
  • Expecting liposuction to improve cellulite or stretch marks

These points are general guidance only. Suitability is decided by Dr Mariam V. Manukyan after reviewing your photographs and medical information, and may differ in your case.

Recovery timeline

How recovery typically unfolds

An indicative guide to liposuction 2–3 areas recovery. Individual healing varies, and your own timeline is confirmed by your surgeon.

  1. Days 1–2

Day-case or overnight stay, compression garment fitted, gentle walking encouraged early.

  2. Days 3–5

Clinic-based recovery in Yerevan; leakage from access points settles and a review is completed before travel.

  3. Weeks 2–6

Compression is usually worn for four to six weeks. Bruising fades and light exercise resumes on advice.

  4. Months 3–6

Swelling resolves progressively and the contour refines. The result is typically judged at three to six months.
