This is the starting price for the least extensive suitable pathway in this category, covering the mandatory pathway components rather than a clinic-only fee. Flights and specialist medical travel insurance are not included.

About this pathway
A considered tummy tuck pathway
An abdominoplasty is a significant surgical procedure intended to address loose abdominal skin and weakened muscle tone, often after pregnancy or weight change. Your Armenia pathway is structured to give you time to prepare, recover in a calm environment, and return to the UK with clear aftercare guidance.
Your pathway is shaped around your medical information, your preferred travel timeframe and what is suitable following surgeon review. We coordinate the practical elements so you can focus on preparing well and recovering calmly.

- Final suitability is confirmed after surgeon review of your medical information.
- Recovery varies between patients and depends on your individual healing.
- Travel home is planned around clinical guidance.
Understanding tummy tuck
What tummy tuck / abdominoplasty involves
Depending on what Dr Mariam Manukyan considers appropriate after review, an abdominoplasty may involve removing excess skin below the navel, repairing separated abdominal muscles (diastasis recti) and repositioning the umbilicus. A mini abdominoplasty addresses the lower abdomen only and is sometimes discussed where skin laxity is limited. Liposuction is occasionally combined with abdominoplasty where the surgeon judges it suitable. The resulting scar usually sits low across the abdomen so that it can be covered by underwear, and it matures over many months.
Also referred to as Abdominoplasty, Full abdominoplasty, Mini tummy tuck.
Often suitable where
- Abdominal skin laxity or muscle separation following pregnancy or weight change
- A weight that has been broadly stable for at least six months
- Non-smoking, or able to stop well in advance of surgery as advised
- Able to remain in Armenia for the full recommended recovery period before flying
Usually not appropriate where
- Planning further pregnancies in the near future
- Uncontrolled diabetes, clotting disorders or other conditions that raise surgical risk
- Expecting abdominoplasty to act as a weight loss procedure
These points are general guidance only. Suitability is decided by Dr Mariam V. Manukyan after reviewing your photographs and medical information, and may differ in your case.
Recovery timeline
How recovery typically unfolds
An indicative guide to tummy tuck recovery. Individual healing varies, and your own timeline is confirmed by your surgeon.
Days 1–3
Hospital admission, monitored rest, drains where used, and assisted first mobilisation.
Days 4–10
Clinic-based recovery in Yerevan with a slightly flexed posture, compression garment and short, gentle walks.
Weeks 2–6
Back in the UK; desk-based work is often resumed within two to four weeks. Lifting and core exercise remain restricted.
Months 3–12
Swelling continues to settle and the scar gradually fades. The final contour is usually judged at around twelve months.
