How long do I need to stay in Armenia?

Your stay depends on the procedure. Many larger procedures are planned around a 10-day Armenia stay. Blepharoplasty is usually planned around 5–7 days, and liposuction is usually planned around 5 days. These figures are typical guidance only, and a longer stay is required where general anaesthesia is used. Departure is not guaranteed by the typical-stay figure: your surgeon confirms fit-to-fly timing, and where general anaesthesia is used UK FCDO Travel Aware guidance advises planning to remain in-country for at least 10 days after surgery. Where do I recover in Armenia?

Recovery is clinic-based rather than hotel-based. You are admitted as an inpatient for the period appropriate to your procedure, then continue recovery within the medical centre for the remainder of the recommended stay, with dedicated nursing support and regular doctor review.

Each figure is the genuine starting price for the least extensive suitable pathway in that category, covering the mandatory pathway components rather than a clinic-only fee. Your complete price is confirmed after consultation with Dr Mariam and before you pay the 10% booking deposit.

Why can my final pathway price be higher than the from-price?

The from-price is the starting price for the least extensive suitable pathway within that procedure category. After reviewing your goals, photographs and medical background, the surgeon may recommend a different technique, a greater surgical extent or a combined procedure, which changes operating time, admission period and length of stay. Your complete pathway price is confirmed before you pay the 10% booking deposit, and no price is changed after the deposit without your agreement.

Can I combine two procedures?

Combining procedures is possible only where Dr Mariam considers it clinically appropriate after review, based on clinical suitability, the overall operative plan and recovery requirements. Where Dr Mariam considers combined surgery clinically appropriate, a single personalised pathway can be prepared around the agreed operative plan, shared logistics and recovery requirements. How does booking work?

First a private enquiry, then an online consultation and review with Dr Mariam Manukyan. If the surgeon considers the pathway appropriate and you choose to proceed, a treatment date is selected. The complete price is confirmed before the booking deposit is paid, and a 10% booking deposit then secures the surgical date and operating-theatre allocation. The remaining balance is paid to the clinic in Armenia. Do I need specialist medical travel insurance?

Patients are expected to arrange specialist medical travel insurance appropriate to planned elective or cosmetic surgery abroad. Standard holiday insurance may not cover planned surgery or related complications. If you have not yet arranged cover, we can provide information about specialist providers so that you can obtain a quote and purchase suitable cover directly. We do not sell, arrange or advise on insurance products.

What happens if there is a complication?

Surgical complications requiring additional treatment while you are under the clinic’s care in Armenia are managed by the clinic. After you return to the UK, urgent symptoms must be directed to 999, A&E or your local urgent care services. Non-urgent concerns should be raised through the pathway so that the operating surgeon can review and advise. Unless expressly confirmed in writing in your individual booking terms, or covered by your specialist medical travel insurance, the pathway price does not include UK private treatment, a future return flight to Armenia, additional accommodation after a return trip, or elective revision or re-operation after you have returned home.

Is my flight home date guaranteed?

No. Stay guidance is typical and recommended rather than fixed. Travel home is subject to clinical and fit-to-fly clearance confirmed in Yerevan. Where general anaesthesia is used, UK FCDO Travel Aware guidance advises planning to remain in-country for at least 10 days after surgery, so book flexible travel where possible and check current FCDO advice before you travel.

What happens if I am not suitable?
